  • Spark Plug???

A little help with the Plugs and wires. I did the search and all that did was give me more ?'s. What kind of plugs would be recomanded for a 2.0 L MK4 golf? What kind of wires would be recomanded and where would be the best place to find these parts? Would it be worth doing it myself or do I just pay someone to do it and save me a headach? Also est pricing for parts and laubor.
    Thanks in advance.

    Re: Spark Plug???

Not sure which engine code you would have, but 2.0L take either NGK BKUR 6ET-10 (for AEG engine) or NGK PZF R5D-11 for the rest. There is also a VW part number but that is what you are getting. They are expensive too, were $27 EACH at Northland a year ago.

Could get new wires at C-1. I assume you are looking to upgrade, there are lots around. Looks like you might need a tool for removing the wires. Should be relatively simple to do yourself, going by the service manual anyhow.
