Security Code for radio?

I'm wondering where the security code is for the radio or how to get it, The card that has the code on it is no longer in the owners manual. It's a 98 Jetta.

go to dealer, they will tell you by looking up your vin.

Usually someone at the dealer can get it for you, but need to pull the deck out to get the serial number, I think.

I would think zero....but if you have the VIN and stereo serial #, maybe

zero over the phone. they want registration, proof of who you are, and VIN.
they will charge you $30 labor fee as well for some silly reason

Bring it in to the dealership and prove that it's your radio and I'll give it to you fror free.

they wanted to charge me $30 labor fee at Northland last year when that happend........
