Oil change

I am at 8000 km's and i am getting an oil change from the warranty. What kind of oil should i get for my 24v? Any suggestions?

The dealer will give you the "right" dyno oil according to their specs. If you want to go to synthetic, that will cost you extra, or I would think you could bring in your own. I'm not sure what weight the 24v takes, but it should be in the manual.

I know that they recommend 5W40 for the 1.8T, but you can also use 5W30. Since 5W40 is impossible to find, I went with Mobil 1 5W30.

yea paul check your manual.. go synthetic and try to get mobil 1 if not get the dealer castrol syntec.. thats what i'm gonna get in a few months when i hit 8k
