Hey guys I got this front grill for a really good price and I'm wondering where I might be able to get some mesh for it. I also have to get it painted black. I've read on the forum that some of you guys have painted your own grills. I'm just wondering where you get the paint from??

    thanks again

rona has mesh.. its huge tho.. like 4x8 size so you just buy some good cutters and buy some black rust paint and roll the sheet up stuff it in the trunk.. cut what you need give it like 3-4 coats of black and let it dry nice.. and chuck the rest in the trash.. easy as pie

Or go to metal supermarket and get the size you need. Might cost just as much as the whole sheet though, dunno...

Even try a welding shop. My dad is a welder, and I know he always had some of that mesh sitting around. Also, a welder will cut it to size and shape for you...probably won't charge much either

Hey, is that an Oettinger grill? I have the same one and I recently had to replace the mesh on the grill and all the lower bumper openings. I bought mine from this guy on ebay and I'm very happy with it...

Not as cheap as getting chicken wire from Home Depot. But I'm lazy didn't want to paint the stuff black

Just wondering what everyone thinks about painting the mesh crome and the grill being black?
