I use Meguiars Gold Class because I have a bunch of free bottles of it (actually....a bunch of free boxes of Meguiars stuff mwahahaha) but it seems like Meguiars NXT is le new shiz to use. I'll probably switch to that once my 10 year supply runs out hahah.

s-100 is great and really easy to work with. apply and remove. no setting time required. you should be able to pick it up at any Harley-Davidson dealership.

be sure to use quality applicator pads and buffing towels otherwise you'll be putting a lot of swirls into your paint.

All synthetics are the same stuff more or less.... So use the NXT cuz it smells like grape Kool aid. Mmmm

          no they aren't.

Crap like that Nufinish and that turtle wax 2000 stuff is full of nasty solvents that stain your black trim. You need to use mineral spirits to remove NuFinish stains from your black trim.

                      Re: First wax

I learned alot about waxes lately, and although the synthetic stuff works great, nothing beats a pure caranuba wax....its not as hard or long lasting, but it has a significantly better and deeper shine to it than synthetics....But remember, always polish (or even clay bar then polish) before you wax, otherwise all you're doing is sealing crap onto your car...
