Is this Bimmer e30 worth $3500 Canadian?

Hi there
Im thinking of getting this e30 Mtech1 for $3500
This is what the guy said about his car
1986 BMW 325eS Mtech
car has around 28XXXX kms on it, still runs strong though, (beats the hell outta my vtec powered honda)
car is red, 5 speed, straight 6, 2.5L engine
paint seems new, as in 2 years or so.
car is stock other than a racing dynamics racing chip (so i am told by previous owner)
no rust except for a small bubble in the paint about 2cm by 2cm id say.
its got pretty much every available option that i can think of such as
power locks, windows, mirrors, sunroof, steering,
A/C,
central locking system,
fog light switch (missing lights),
premium stereo,
m power grill,
rare hounds tooth sport seats

It could be, the biggest thing i'd be worried about is 2 year old paint starting to bubble through, could mean it was a poor respray over bad body work (but maybe not hard to know). I'll let the BMW guys speak to the rest, I love BMW's I-6's but don't know if they have any issues you need to be aware of.

The important thing to remember too is maintenance is going to cost a lot more on this car than on a honda (ANY honda), so be prepared for that. Is this a project or a daily?

Oh yea, Polar bear license plates rule! (the real ones that is, not the fake ones you buy at mall kiosks)
