  • Q:about my Jetta GL rear bumper

    hey,
    I just got a jetta GL 04 and it came with the hard plastic black mudflaps on it and there on the rear bumper too...i want to replace the muffler temporarily but i noticed the backs mudflap application was in the way...i need to no if its kool to take it off or when i take it off will it be like an un-natural look like i took something off that wasnt ment to be taken off? help plz?

    i just put mine one for winter, looks good without though, better in many cases. if you take the backs off, id do the fronts too... or trim the flap back so everything fits?

      also when i unscrewed the hex screws from the bottom that were keeping on the black rear bumper i noticed that it wont come off till u remove part of it from the wheel well but i dont see a screw that holds it in place...i need to no if u had the same problem and if so how to take the hole thing off(the black rear mud bumper?)

        are you talking about the valence???? you keep on saying black rear mud bumper and I have no idea wtf that is.

        Are you talking about the black strip that is on the bottom of your bumper?
        You shouldn't leave that off because it will look gay as freaking hell. Cut it to fit your exhaust.
