Can someone tell me the dimensions of the exhaust cut-out in the 2003-up jetta rear valence?

k, i found this in another forum...
the valence cut-out is 5.5" at the narrowest (top) and 8" at the widest (bottom.)
i would assume its smaller on the top because you have to add a radius to to top cornes of the cutout? i dont think the sides of the cutout are tapered. And this doesnt tell you how far along the bumper to put the cutout.
(of course you cant buy a hole)

The main reason I'm asking the size is that I'm looking for nice exhaust tips that will fit 2 side-by-side. I have an '02, and I'd like to change to the '03 valence. No luck finding nice tips as of yet. Looking for 2.5" outlet, round, stainless, 2-walled and/or resonated...'02 Jetta 1.8Tuuurbo

I checked the price on a valence with cut-out at Northland about 6 months ago. I might be wrong about the $40, but it was under $100. Low enough to make me consider buying one when I get my new exhaust instead of getting turn down tips or doing the cutout myself.Jeff
