Well guys, on my 2002 golf gti 1.8 t that i just bought, there is black plasic front bumper licence plate braket, we dont need a front licence plate here in alberta so i wanted to remove it. But under neither was not in the best condition. There was 2 holes drilled about the size of a toonie for the braket to fit on flush. so i put it back on but im still not crazy about the look on my front bumper. Any ideas or susjestiongs? just leave it or is there something i can do? thanks!

Re: Bumper advice.
You can put a euro plate on it, they look pretty sharp and you can get them cheap off eBay...

Re: Bumper advice.
home depot sells these round black plug things that pop right into the exsiting holes. you then can paint them the same color as your car and just toss those on for a cheap fix. or you could just buy a new rubstrip for like $90

Re: Bumper advice.
What I ended up doing to solve this problem was buy a new bumper strip from VW (just the 2" wide strip). They come unpainted...total cost came to about $200 once everything was removed and installed.'02 Jetta 1.8Tuuurbo
