Re: Out of province inspection??
Out of province is totally different than an insurance inspection. The fine is huge, and most shops take it more seriously. CT will take the wheels off for an OOP.
Need to go to a reg and get a request for inspection (25 bucks or so) - you have 7 days (maybe 14 I forget) to get it done. As long as everything works you'll be ok, but they will fail you for even being out of alignment.

I took my car to CT for an OOP and the service *manager* told me that they "didn't see the need to take my wheels off"Tim

request for inspection is about 10 bucks, and then the actual inspection is about 80 - 120 depending on the place, plus if they find stuff they have to fixRIP 97 Jetta VR

Re: Out of province inspection??
I got my OOP done this past summer at a place called "Folks Automotive". They were nice and quick to do it and I think the price was about $80 or so. My car only had about 6000 km when it had to be inspected though.
