when you owned vw's which engine did u like better, 1.8T or VR6?
Hands down the VR6, especially the 24V. Wayyyy smoother power band. I've owned 2 1.8t's, and i do really like them, but still the 24V was the best of the bunch.

Yes, but however owning the BMW has also given me a great appreciation of how awesome the MKIV VW's are, and especially how awesome my Audi was. Truth be told, I could see my next car being the next Gen S4 cause I still love Audi's. However, I'm already wanting to buy another VW, most likely what I will do is buy a 2000-2001 project car (GTI or Jetta) that I will slowly work on. But, I'm gonna wait on that for a while.

congrats man! looks awesome.. the new e90s i guess have the best engines bmw has ever made.. they just keep going and going and don't really lose power from what i've read.
Yes it is quite amazing, but I won't be going up against you on the track or anything, you would pretty much blow my doors off fa sure!!!!
