No it's not real (it says right on top.."spoof commercial") and the maker of it (some film student...) was sued/threatened/penalized for making it.Comment

It was done by an ad agency trying to get VW's advertising contract. That was one of i think 4 or 5 commercials done by that company (i have them somewhere on a dvd i got when i worked for VW) but VW saw it and refused to use that Ad company.Comment
