What are brock b2's worth?

Hey I have a buddy who wants to sell me his brock b2's, including michelin pilot sport rubber. They are 18 x 8'' and the rubber is almost new, any idea how much is fair?

well first of all they dont come in x8, they only come in 8.5 and 10 so I will assume you mean 8.5".

pgpperformance has them at $550 canadian a piece not including shipping/tax or tires. so at $250 a tire (at least) in 18" i would say new package costs maybe $3500 after taxes.

I paid a bit over $2000 for mine 2.5 years ago, and the price hasn't gone down so I'd say thats a good price.

Thanks Simon, yeah I was sure it was 8.5'' but when I asked my buddy he assumed they were 8''. Only other thing I have only seen b2s on your golf and my buddys golf, do they looks as good on mkiv jettas as well?

I'm the one who sold them to Simon originally, I paid approx. $2600 brand new for them. Rims depreciate like crazy now, I wouldn't pay anymore than $1700 for them. Considering most guys running 19's are selling them for that much.

Just thought Id add, these have been on his car since 02, just in the summer of course, which is an 01 with about 100 k km. Rubber was purchased last year and only on the car for about 4000 km, does 1700 still sound like most I should pay?

Nah they are sitting at his place in montana, contact him if you want them, Im not that interested just if they were a good deal I was thinking about it. You guys hear how much he took for his car!? Now theres a deal we all missed out on.
