      well for a mk3 I love it! As I am in the middle of doing it... I have made some wrong turns along the way but i think I have the right style down now:

      The Jetta:

      The Getta:

      The Fall Getta:

      The NEW parts (thanks simon):

      *NOTE* I have some new parts not in the picture and some being shipped, most of the new stuff is little things for the inside.

      Getto winter mode:

      THE INSTALL DATE OF NEW PARTS: 1/28/2006!!!!

      What I want to look like (to some degree)

      JTI:

        He is talking about MK4 though.
        Yes, all the parts switch over directly....you won't be able to keep that PZWO bumper of yours though.
        There is write up's/DIY's with pictures on Vortex.

        Don't do it IMO
        Whoever has the Golf/GTI always gets the better end of the deal.
        Getta = FUGLY
        JTI = HOT

            basically you need the lights, grill, bumper, and fenders. I think that's it. I'm not sure what install is like though I don't think it's too bad just all bolt on stuff.

            I think it looks good for both sides. I like Jetta's with Golf fronts on the Mk4.

              Re: getta, Jti conversions...

              I was looking into this months ago it would take about 2.5hrs to completly finish both cars. so i've heard. isn't too complicated everything bolts up all the same. i have a 2005 ( i think) reflex silver golf with black grill and joey modded headlights car only has something like 8000km so theres no rock chips. and the front end is in mint condition. send me a pm if you are interested.

              ^ thats super hot!!

                  Do it. Looks so good. As long as you do it yourself and dont have to paint anything, why not?

                        This is like the ONLY Getta I have ever liked...crazy clean OEM+ car.
                        I think it CAN look good if you are going for the right look...doesn't work with aggressive stuff at all IMO.

                          you'd need fenders, hood, bumper, lights, bumper/rad support changed over. all oem stuff, no custom mods necessary to make it fit.

                          i would have done it pre modified paint, bumper, fender, lights, grill.
