07 GTI pricing!!!

Hey Guys,
thought you all might want to hear this.
Base price on a 2 dr 6 speed manual will be $29375 plus freight and PDI.

That price includes:
-3 spoke leather wrapped multifunction steering wheel (with paddle shift for DSG)
-climate control
-dual exhaust with sound generator
-highline instrument cluster
-premium sound system with 6 disc indash CD
-Trip computer
-17" sport alloy wheels
-Red brake calipers
-fog lights
-Xenon headlights
-ESP (ASR,EDL,EBC)
-Dual front, side and headcurtain airbags
-Crash active headrests
-special alloy interior treatment
-sport seats with plaid interlagos fabric

Thats all I know for now. No clue on option packages or prices!

Thats pretty damn good. Considering it has xenons, climate control, and a few other luxo features, it's gonna be one of the best bang for the bucks.

So, does that mean there's 2 different kinds of 'sport seats?' I thought in NA you had to get leather to get the sport seats?

I'm pretty sure that by "sport seats" they mean the ones that are not quite as bolstered as the leather ones. My buddy went to Detroit autoshow however and said that although the cloth seats visually look like they have very little support, they are infact very comfortable and have surprisinglyaggressive bolsters. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Only 3 weeks or so I would guess!

I've heard the same thing, the non-leather are supposed to still be quite nice. I almost think in most pictures it's an optical illusion.

I would run 20s, just not those ones as they are fugly. I have a couple wheel styled in mind for the MK5 just have to see if I get one some day!

Some 20's look good, most look too big. I'd probably rock 19's. Overall I like that golf, looks pretty hot to me.
