Spotted an A3 down in Cranston colour P.G. ? dark out no mods done that I could see nice car though! any body on the boards maybe?

Not sure, I don't think anyone (that posts anyway) has an A3 on here. I was hoping to be one but my dreams of owning an A3 died a horrible death today, I'm quite sad actually. Oh well.

Well, even though it wasn't the most expensive car we looked at they have a terrible finance rate on the A3 (5.8%!) so it actually makes the payments quite a bit more. I don't know why, the A4 is 4.2! The Volvo we looked at is only 2% which makes a BIG difference.

It could be a Jetta for me or maybe even a volvo

The A3 is basically everything we'd want but it just doesn't make sense (and i'm sure that's why there's not more of them on the road)

damn that sucks.. i got an insane rate on my S4.. Audi beat my bank by 3%!!

Well I guess it's because it's a "new" car, or maybe because he thought we weren't serious. Either way it'd be kind of like throwing money away.

If you are price shopping an A3, why not just get a GTI - have a MK1 and 5 - hot.

I found volvo's to be overpriced for what you get, even with lower interest. Remember that 1% is about 500 bucks over 5 years, so even if the rate is 3% higher on a 20K note, if you can haggle down 3K you're 1.5K ahead.

Yea, the Volvos are rather expensive, the V50 was actually the most expensive car we looked at and it didn't even have all the options.

Actually my wife and I would both like a GTI, but rumour has it the 4 doors won't be here till like September some time. So we thought, well, let's just hold out on for a GLI but nobody knows when they are coming either. It's really stupid, I don't know why the US has had the GLI for months but no one even knows if we'll get it in Canada.

I guess we'll see. We did like the Jetta though.
