Im at an O&G Company.. And didnt know, so I didnt go. Probably should have been more sure about this, but since New Years was on a weekend, I was told today was a holiday...

I am also with an O&G company....we got friday (30th) off in lieu of New Year's instead of today. So yea, I am at work today and get to miss the Flames games at 1 o'clock .....maybe I'll go home sick on the first day of the new work year

Edit: For the record, I doubt anyone will notice you are missing....I bet only 15% of our company is at work today!

i worked today.. i'm in the O&G industry.. honestly i worked till about 12 then had a company expensed lunch lol and went out and looked at cars and got paid for it
