Eurodrivers:
I was "freshening" my Jetta last Sat., and had the outside door handle on the driver's side rear, break off when I squeezed it to open the door. Had to wait until yesterday (Tues.) for the Northland VW parts dept. to be open again. They had them in stock (but you have to buy the complete door handle), so picked up another one for $73. Probably should have gone to whatever name "Pick Your Part" now goes by, but I liked the idea of a 10 min. drive, one way, to get the part. Installed it in a couple of min. I think (with my limited memory), that this is the first door handle part to break...
While I was waiting at the parts counter, a salesman I know from when he was at the old 5th Ave. location, Mike Mitton, gave me a couple of VW calendars!
