i have a few months to see what I want.

A3 2.0T, 225 TT or 2.0t GTI 5

I think i'd go A3 over the GTI tho but the TT is well a TT which is awesome lol
i was pricing out TTs this morning and I can swing a new 05/06 model so thats cool

You've got it down to the options I'm looking at. I think I'm going test driving stuff in January to try to aid my decision (well the Audi's at least).

Those were my exact options when I JUST ABOUT sold my car last month to a buddy of Chris'. The A3's are amazing car's and they feel 10x more luxurious than my GLI.....That would be my personal choice ...maybe even the new IS250 AWD for something different !

I'd go GTi

A new TT is coming out soon which will mean that yours will not be the latest and greatest... whereas a MK5 Gti - you can't get any 'later and greater' than that!

Plus, resale might be an issue on the TT after the new one comes out. or maybe not, I'm not sure.

If the new GTI's interior feels anything like the new Jetta's interior, I'll be totally disapointed. I really feel they took a step backwards in this new generation of dubs in terms of interior. However, I love the 2.0T and the suspension upgrades. And really, the price difference between the A3 and a GTI really isn't that much. My problem with the A3 is that I hate all of the colour choices... they are all so "i'm a rich yuppy and I don't want to stand out". I want bold, bright, sporty colours like Imola Yellow or Nogaro Blue (which I realize the GTI's probably won't have either)... they do have red which is nice.

And then I see and hear a TT drive by, and I want one. I know the new ones are coming out, which is why I'm a little hesitant to buy an old one.

For a "cool" A3 colour the Lava grey (metalic?) is nice. It obviously doesn't stand out like imola, but it's sorta like BMP, not obvious at first but very nice.

probably grey tho.. i love platinum and silverstone and wish i had it on my jetta so i think i'm gonna try to get a greyish color

the a3 is awesome too but IMO if you buy an audi you SHOULD get quattro
