So I have been learning about this power module for the new TDI Golf that is coming PDQ. Concept-1 sells it and hasn't done too much of these modifications in the 2006 models, but says the results from the 2005 models have been great. Of course, the 2006 and 2005 Golfs are the same breed so that is good news. However, through some email questions, I have been informed that if you turn the dial too high, your transmission can suffer from the increased torque (30%). It also provides you with potentially better mileage (depending on how you use your new source of tourque) and more horse power. 
It sounds pretty cool, but I am curious about the down falls.
Being a person who has learned the hard way several times over, I know there is always a draw back for any boost on any subject. Is there anything you all know about for these Power Modules? The transmission wear makes sense, but anything else?
Apparently the unit can easily be removed for warranty issues so we are okay there by the way....I know that will come up!
