Speaking of competitive, I just read in the paper that the Mazdaspeed 6 has a 2.3 turbo putting out 280ftlbs and 270hp stock.....looks like VW is playing catchup again....

I believe the Mazdaspeed6 is AWD as well.

The feb issue of car&driver has a sportsedan comparo. The new jetta gli places 1st, mazda speed 6 is 4th. The mazda is quicker though, and yea, awd would be a nice option.

I like the styling of the regular 6, don't like the rim choice on the mazdaspeed6....but, for the same price you can get an STi....and you can swap out that horrible wing for the regular wrx one and still have a 300hp monster....
