It is kinda annoying. Cant be that difficult to fit a 4 or 5litre resevoir in the engine bay.

Vr6 corrado's can hold 7litres for some reason.

I suppose we'll have firm pricing after NAIAS? Jan 4th ish? I know I'm going to drop a brick once I see the price of the GTI. Maybe there's hope for a 5 door Golf instead. But since VWoA is at least a year and a half behind the game, I don't think there's enough incentive from VW to stop me from picking up a new Civic instead. :(

Honestly, there is never any real incentive from VWOC. However the fact that the new civic (IMO) is garbage in comparison to any VW should prompt you to wait just a little longer.

All I want for incentive from VW is the Golf V and a model that costs less than $20K and gets better than 8.0 l/100 km (City) to use as a commuter. And it should have been here when the Golf V came out in Europe, not this "let's feed them the Jetta for a year" nonsense.

Most of us here don't hate VW's, we just know their flaws and are secure enough to admit them.

Im not so sure of that. I had a 88 Fox wagon in the family and it was a great car. However this is all speculation at this point. VWOC needs to do a better job at proving there is a market with the sub compact before we see anything like a polo, fox, lupo.... ect

Dealer pricing in the US shows it's about 1500 cheaper than a GLI which is good news indeed! 23K for sunroof and DSG, people are actually surprised.

Yea I saw that today, pretty cool! Hopefully the 4 doors don't take too long.

I wish we had a GLI here
