Soooo tempting. I'm trying to decide between a new GTI or an A3. I likes the sportiness of the GTI, but I likes the luxury of the A3. (or maybe a used TT or used S4)
yea bill i want a TT or S4 also but used kinda scares me.. i'm waiting until i pay my jetta off fully before i try another car.. but i'm gonna get a B5 audi still unless the b6's drop insanely in price or i get a crazy raise this year.
The price difference between the A3 and a somewhat loaded GTI is almost nothing when you consider that the A3 also comes with 4 years of scheduled service... which really makes me lean towards the Audi. I'm am sooooo tired of VW service, but honestly I don't really know if Audi is any better. I'm hoping!
You generally only get 1 service a year in the deal so you may have to pay for a second service, but in my families experience Audi service has been fairly good.

for a buyer that bought the jetta 5 2.0T, i would think the price of the GTI will be close to 30K basic no option... with options plus GST you are probably looking at close to 36K
