I have slips for 15.0 - 15.9 at Race City. The 15.0 was a lucky perfect launch, and the 15.9 was my dumb ass not turning the traction control off.

15.0 is pretty good at race city for a chipped or stock 1.8T! Nice.

More importantly which wheels and tires? One of the 5th Ave guys got a nice 15.5 on a GLI with exhaust, and another guy from East got mid 15s, but dunno what rubber was on it.

That was with a Revo 4 bar (pre-sps3), a full tank of gas, a CAI, stock exhaust, stock n-75, stock Conti tires on stock Montreal 2 16 inch rims and no weight reduction.

Oh and the front tires to about 22-24 psi if I recall correctly and the rears at 35+. No burn-out, preheating etc other than a mild scrub spin before staging.

My launches generally sucked and my 60's were above 2.2 on every run.

With a downpipe, SPS3, some weight reduction (1/4 tank gas, no spare, etc) and a better than I did launch a 14.7 should be easily attainable.

Just for fun, here is my dyno.

At bud park in Edmonton I ran 15.0 at 97 mph with exhaust, suspension, and revo stage 2 in 2003 Jetta 1.8T. I ran 15.3 at 92 mph with the only mod being 3" ebay downpipe. From people I've talked to it sounds like 97mph trap should be good for mid 14's, I blame it on the car still having the original tires (couldn't be crappy driver!)
