Cup Holder

Anyone else have this problem?
Every time it gets cold here, my cup holder won't come out. I can push the cover, nothing happens. All the sudden when I'm drivin' along, it'll pop out. Kind of a pain to try and drive stick with a hot coffee in between your legs...

Mine always works to a certian extent..the unit pops out but the little bottom piece doesnt drop..I think its because of coffee and **** gettin spilt with those stupidly designed cup holders and making them stick

I've never spilt anything at all in my car...thanks for the suggestion. I've actually never had a problem with anything even moving, let alone spilling in my cup holder...it works well for me....when it works.

ya, with a closed can of soda you're fine, but if you actually use em daily to get coffee or w/e they are useless if you drive as agressivly as I do...and im not willing to change my driving habits for some god damn cupholder haha

Oh yeah, I use 'er for coffee every day (big stainless steel mug)...no problems, and I drive like I gots nuttin' to lose. Open sodee cans need not apply in my car. Lol.

I HATE those cupholders. I wish my car didn't have them. I am thinking about disabling the mechanism altogther.

I'm proud my Jettta DOESN'T have cup holders--although it does bug my wife that they aren't there.... Hey--they're good for her Neon, though!!

i can't use mine anymore cuz of my dvd player so i'm adding the 04+ style center console so i can get holders down low
