yeah, I know. I took out an ad in the Autotrader for this week's issue - let's hope it is worth the 62 bucks I paid for it.
Other than that, one of my friends is possibly interested in buying it, and I have two others who claim to be interested.
One guy has asked that the car be inspected, so I'm wondering where a good place to get that done would be? Also, seeing as the car is only 2 years old, isn't an inspection sorta unnecessary? I mean I have all my service records, and the car isn't clapped out or anything...
Well you could always let him arrange the inspection and maybe even get him to pay for it if he wants it or split it. I guess you have to do whatever you can to help sell the car!

Some people just feel better if they have a piece of paper in their hand. I would just call around and find a shop with the cheapest possible inspection.
Actually he's offering to pay for the inspection, but my concern is more about finding time to get it done. I work 7 days a week and it's a pain to try and get a day off. But I think I'll talk to him first about going over my service records and then see what's what.
It's very standard to get an inspection done when you sell a car, even if it is only 2 years old, I did it when I sold my 99.5 Golf, and I got my 2000 GOlf inspected before I bought it.
Ask the buyer where he wants it done, sometimes people have their own mechanic they like to take it to, or a favorite garage. If no preference, dealer is your best bet. Nothings finer than having VW's seal of approval on it. I think it costs $79 at the dealer
Granted, but I told my boss at the 'Bucks that I'd stick around for a little while and help out until she hired more staff. Besides, the girls that come in for drinks are AMAZING!!! :urspecial
