New fuse box

It is amazing what a new fuse box will do for an 82 VW Jetta. Our old VW Jetta we gave to my friend Nadine and told her it would need a new fuse box soome as we were pretty sure that was were the majority of problems was coming from. She kept putting it off and off well the old car crapped out on her Tuesday AM and wouldn't go. Nadine was panicing thinking the car needed a new battery, the car has one, thinking it needed a new alternator, it has one, it needed a new fuse box.

Hubby put the new fuse box, the fuel pump had a vapor lock hubby fixed that, jumped the battery from it being run down. Car runs BEAUTY just like when we bought it with tons of get up and go.

Goes to show a new fuse box was the Way.

That was a problem with those MK1's. Make sure you remedy any windsheild leaks or you will be shopping for another fusebox. I would wraop the fusebox in a shopping bag. That's what I used to do with all my MK1's back in Ontario. It acts as a raincoat.
