I've been with Monnex, as well, for many, many years... Yea, you get a discount, if you attended NAIT, as well!!! Being an old dog, I pay around $580 a year now, with no windshield coverage, and 1 mill. for 3rd party.. AND, that amount includes a $4 a year discount for my Compustar alarm with engine disabler!
Man, I cringe when I read what you young pups have to pay, based on your age... Don't know how you manage that financial hit!! Good on ya, though!!!
ya, mines just under 1500/yr - no accidents (claimed haha), 1 speeding ticket from 4ish years ago, 21yrs old with AMA...theyve always been the best price for me..that being said I only shopped around when i first got insurance at 16 (they were about 1500-3k less than the other quotes i got at that point) but every year my rates have gone down, so no complaints here

yea the AB insurance reform stuff lately is awesome next year when i become an old dog my rate will drop nicely.. then one day (many many many many moons away lol) when i get hitched it will be very low.. i hope haha
If you are talking with the insurance weasels never mention anything about mods.
They were going to deny me coverage for having tires that were performance tires and outside of the stock specifications. They balked at the lowering on the Neon until I pointed out that the parts were Chrysler parts and were a stock part on the ACR models. I had to bring in the freakin catalog.

I don't think getting hitched dropped mine much. Be mindful though of some of those new reforms, they payout they have for accidents that are not your fault are horrible. With my injury and over a year of pain and countless hours of mine spent at physio (let alone the massive $$ it costs me to drive there) would account to about $4k under the new laws
