ATP has released a new manifold with stock turbo flange for transverse 1.8T's.

If you read the bottom of the page, they basically say that under high HP they were cracking the stock manifolds, and that the stock manifolds could not flow enough, and could not reasonably be ported to do so.
This has lead to speculation that while testing the transverse eliminators they found out that you really do need a new manifold.
I do not think there is much point in buying an eliminator turbo with a new manifold when you can just buy a better T28 or T3 manifold and turbo.
