Anyone else see the crazy parade? There were like 100 ambulances on 9th today. It was loud as hell.

0900 hrs - Tuesday November 9th

Don’t be surprised if you hear & see 50 Ambulances responding
through downtown Calgary today!

Calgary EMS in partnership with Operation Christmas Child
will be participating in the annual shoebox campaign Tuesday
November 9th. Approximately 50 off duty Ambulances from the
City of Calgary and surrounding EMS services will be staffed
with off duty Paramedics and volunteers to circulate the City
and collect shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Media
and public are invited to observe and participate in this
event. In addition to the convoy of Ambulances, HAWC1 Calgary
Police Helicopter and STARS Air Ambulance will be landing at
the media school.

This is the 9th year that Calgary EMS has been involved in
Operation Christmas Child and the 6th year that other
surrounding Ambulance Services have been involved.

Sitting on the 21st floor of my building in a meeting we could here it clear as day.
