The suspension in my car is getting a little weak. its stock, with 110000km. i dont want to drop my car too much, but if i have to replace the suspension anyways, i might upgrade a little. One recommendation i got was to find a low milage set from a GLI, which might work alright for me, but I'm not sure about what a good price is.... There is some on vortex, shipping might suck, but im just playing with the idea for now. what would YOU pay for a low milage set of struts/springs from a GLI??
(the ones on vortex are 150$ and 225$USD plus a lot of shipping..)

        Re: suspension

For the $ I think this would be a good choice. I drove a 337 gti (same setup) and thought it handled quite well with a nice ride.

Is the GLI suspension lower/stiffer than a standard 1.8t?
          1.8T

bah 1" is barely noticable man.. plus no front lip/kit you'll be fine.. even with my 2" drop and a stock front end its not bad in the winter..
