how about you quit trolling. there are no club rules saying you need a mk4 if you're "always watching" you'd have seen this posted a few times. we have mk1's, mk2's, mk3's, mk4's, mk5's, audi's, smart's, etc etc.
Werd. I sometimes "troll" through the CVD forums. I don't post because it's mostly crap.

It does say "Late-Model Volkswagen Enthusiast Site"
I did get some "New" parts for my Old car... A pair of hanger bearings,
a Gweebo, a pair of CV's, an oil seal, a set of forged pistons...(c/w rings etc)
A billet fuel rail & 3.5bar fpr, 30lb injectors, adjustable timing gear, and a few misc parts for an ABA build up...does that count?
That right le Baron is French for The Baron!
New stands for "new to you" new to the club or whatever you want it to mean.

Sure. Anything counts for "new" when you didn't own it before. It might not be new but it's new to you.

i was told last years auto show would have them. every time i ask a vw sales guy they always tell me "oh they should be here in a few months"... that was like 9 months ago. lol
Well MK5 GTIs should be here around February but as for Golfs who knows??
As for the name thing it is just that a name, the club is more than just about New or Late model cars, we are about building a car enthusiast community that is primarily centered on VWs. I have owned MK1s, MK3s, and MK4s and now a MK7 (Smart that is)
