  • Just droppin a line

Hey guys, joined about a week ago. Just thought i would drop a hello in now that i have time. Im in sait right now doing electrical engineering and am looking at a new car but we'll see how the budgy is going and how soon i can get one. I always wanted a MKIV jetta and recently went and looked at the 06 that came out and am thinking of buying one of those. 6spd 2.0T was pretty nice, it might take a bit to get used to the front styling thought. NEWho hello and goodbye

            Maybe engineering "technology"?

If you're taking ELT make sure you learn your ladder logic, looks like that's what i'm going to have to go back and learn (among other PLC related topics) as everything in Calgary is Oil and Gas.

BTW I took Electronics engineering technology, it was pretty good. Have fun at SAIT.

April 2007, i dont have my heart set on PLC and design, ill do whatever to make coin and get experience, but thats where i would like to end up. I want to work monday - friday in the city and have enough money to support my car habit. I just dont understand the industry enough yet to know what I"ll do/where I"ll go.

Well, as long as you stay away from telecomm you'll be fine, haha. I'm sure after you've been in Calgary you'll hear about a lot of the companies.

Welcome to the boards and good luck with your studies.
