Oil Leaks

Anyone else have any oil leaking issues with there 24V VR
I have had 2 in the last month a crank sensor and a valve cover gasket .
now i have 2 more oil sweating around the oil fill cap and a rather large on coming from in between the engine and trans.
Is this very common or is the dealer not doing what they should? They say they only work on about 2 a year down here and mines been in there twice allready

I've an 03 24v 6 spd and no...what year is yours? Which tranny?

A VW with 80,000K is going leak, thats just the way it is. I'm not too sure how many K you car has on it, but back in the day when I worked at Mr. Lube, I saw a lot of Leaky VW's

It's an 03 VR6 6 speed with 30000km

Personally I think they misdiagnosed it the first time, but what do us stupid Refrigeration mechanics know..
