  • How to sell a car through a broker...

Yes...I am lazy...and planning ahead...I am taking a look at a 1990 Audi 90 Quattro in Edmonton this weekend so my baby may be let go sometime in the near future, and I want to sell her with the least amount of effort possible, thus my question regarding how to sell through a broker like Automaxx or whatever it's called on 16th avenue there...

So if anyone can fill me in on how that works, that'd be great!

PS> Also, if anyone here is interested in buying my car, I'll give you the straight up story on it (as she is not without flaws) and a killer deal, should the 90 work out and I sell the Red Dragon...

Nothing an engine rebuild won't fix, oh, and a turbo :P From what I have read the 20v makes an awesome turbo car.

If you are interested in the engine, you should check out the motorgeek forums, I think there are a lot of 20v drivers there, and its pretty technically-oriented.

Awesome, thanks for the tip! If memory serves me, I believe the 5000CD turbo and the 200 turbo all run the 2.3L inline 5 with the K24 turbo (same as the porsche)...and they can make some sick power....! And while it's not a direct swap in, it can be done into a 90....(but the engine bay with the I5 is frickin tight!)

034efi sells nice kits and hardware for the 20v I5 too I think.

If I was going to buy a winter/project/second car I would definitely look at one of these.

I am sure you will enjoy it!

DAMNATIONS....so I drive all the way up to Edmonton...and the car is garbage...I can understand looking a little rough but it looked like it had been soaking in saltwater for 15 years. More rust than metal. Especially for a fully galvanized body that had a 10year corrosion warranty...Looked like it was sitting in a puddle of its own blood and fluids....tires bald...interior okay I guess.....

Not worth 3500.00 in my opinion, but she's still at the Motor King in Edmonton if anyone wants her...
