Tint Opinion

g'day
I think i'm going to tint my car. here are the 2 options:
-50% all round
-50% front and 35% rear.

I like the idea of having the tint the same all around, and dont want to black out my car. I was thinking 50% all round might look pretty good, I just dont think i have seen a car with 50% all round lately, so if any of you have.... let me know what you think.

I wouldn't mix em up... doesn't look right.

35% all around is what i have and it looks swell

I would agree that 35% all the way around is the way to go!! Definately looks classy!

I did 20% all around on my car.. can be a bit hard to see out of at night though, so if your regularly in areas that aren't lit very well its tough. But I have a dark colored car and the dark tint looks really good I think.

i thought something light might look alright too, but i cant find any pics. i do like the 35%, but wanted to see what 50% looked like.

stefan my car has 35% all around just look at the pics i did recently in my fall photo shoot in the media gallery

yeah, i know - your car looks great, even if your webserver doesnt work :P. Still wana see what lighter looks like. If nothing else, it would be a little different, and I dont think it will look bad.

well, i think im going light, like 50%. enough to make a noticable difference to the look of the car, but a little different then the other 30-35% cars.

wasn't the deciding factor, but i dont like the idea of loosing too much visibility since I spend a lot of driving time on un-lit roads, and out to BC (at night).

maybe i'll stick my nvd decals on after

Be sure to post pics when it's done. I was thinking of doing 50% on mine as well, and 35% on the rear window for all the pick-ups with their lights blinding me at night.

tint apointment is this afternoon, ill try and get some pics when the roads dry and i can keep the car clean for a few minutes.
I was thinking about 35% in the back window this morning while stuck in traffic. Not a bad idea.

I got my car done a couple months ago:

35% all around and I definatly wouldn't go darker than that on the front windows thats for sure.:







It looks a lot darker than it really is, seeing at night isn't a problem at all IMO.

i had 17% on mine. Amazing during the day, but at night the side windows were a bit on the dark side for my taste.
