Took my cooling system apart yesterday. What a pain!!!

Thermostat works fine, but there is no pressure in the system. Gotta be the water pump. I bow to the masters, shoulda fought with Northland more to find the problem. Now I gotta take it in AGAIN and just tell them to fix the water pump, and how to diagnose the problem. Would have taken about 5 minutes for them to find in the first place if they looked.

Got my new water pump installed today. They took a picture of the part they pulled out, it was broken in 2. I was told sometimes they shatter and then there's plastic all over the place. Covered by powertrain warranty (5 years/80000km for 2001 model). Apparently the cap wasn't sealing on the expansion tank, so I had to pay all of $10 for that.
