I also need to find a Thule fairing for this rack, its noisy without....and I hear the 110" ones fit well, as these are euro Thule racks......I just hate paying $100 for a piece of flat plastic.......And rock chips, I have them by the hundreds already, spring is the time to get them!

I didnt know you boarded! What kind of board do you have? I haven't been out in a while but we should definitely meet up sometime this year and take a cruise out to banff for a day of riding. I picked up a Nitro Naturals 165 last year and only got a chance to use it once so far, and I'm DYING to get back on it, as it is such a sweet board to ride.

Hahaha! nice! You'll be the pimp of the mountain!

BTW... That seems like a pretty short board for someone your size (no insult here), ever thought of going to a longer board?

I so want to go for a a ride on a snow mobile.

I love my Snow shoeing and Snow blading down the hills, Gawd you guy made me homesick for Mount Washington.

I'm going back to BC at Christmas maybe I can get some snow blading in on the hill. I bet they would hire me on the spot to work in the kitchen for a few weeks. Hey it is steady Pay, and snowboarding, skiing for Free!

Holy Crap Dave I thought that was yours for a second!! I'm going snowmobiling this Christmas (as always). I've owned 4 snowmobiles (Ski-doo Safari Citation - slow, skidoo sarfari cheyenne - little faster but could pull out stumps, Yamaha Exciter 570 - FAST 90mph, skidoo Summit 670 - REALLY FAST 110-120 mph!!) MAN I MISS IT! I'm going to try and get an 800cc to borrow while i'm home this year, that should be good for 120-130 easy.

Ryan, that's a lot of gear sounds like your set!, i'm kicking it oldskool, 686, bonfire, northwave, sims. VRado6, where did you get your Nitro?? My friend swears by his 2 Nitro boards, I should see if I can find some on sale.

I would consider buying one if you didn't have to go so far for decent snow (and didn't have to worry about avanlanches). I'm used to driving out of my back yard and into fields and rivers with 3-4 feet, more in places (i've got stuck before and jumped off and was looking the top of the seat and I wasn't even in the mountains)

true jason.. thats what it was like when i was in high school.. jump on and go and hit up fields and stuff.. so much fun but over the last few years the snow has been less and less or later and later so sometimes you don't get to go until like jan or feb which sucks.. i still may buy one but for next winter i'm looking at buying a late 90s b5 A4 for a winter/project car

A couple of my friends are really into snowmobiling in the backcountry. I'm trying to talk them into taking me on the back, and dragging me and my board up the hills so I can board some of the un-touched stuff........

Right now I have an older set of Preston Bindings from my old board, and a Burton Custom 161.5
Sidewalks are for normal walkin.... aint no room for fancy walkin....

Well, I'm a little more ready. I bought a snowboard last night! It will be good to get out again, it's been a few years.

                            P.S. I hate you guys!
