  • elbow grease....

    Well,
    I'm in the process of cleaning up a set of RM's I recently bought. They are 2 piece with a 2" lip made by Kodiak making them 8" wide. As you can see, I've removed the bolts and cleaned up the lips. I haven't had a chance to fully polish the lips yet so this is just by hand so far. On to the progress...

    Before:

    After: (obviously not finished yet)

    Sure is a lot of work but I thinkits worth it!! Let me know what you think!!!
    Cheers
    Derek =)

          The bolts you should just get dipped and then Nickel plated or chromed, if you wanna go really crazy, you can get them Gold plated.

            I talked to a few guys who had theirs chromed and they advised me against it. Apparantly once the heads are chromed, they are too big to fit the 8mm socket but too small for a 9mm! I'll just clean them up and run them like that. Its not a show car so it really doesn't matter too much!
