Just looking for some input on what a 99is to 00ish GTI VR6 with less than 100,000km and “basically stock” would be worth???

car: about 15k for one close to 100kms...and mileage about 400kms for $60 hahaha

I bet you can pick up a VR6 for 10-12k if you're looking for a fixer-upper or can wait while you shop around.

Mileage won't be that great... VR6 isn't known for its economy. I don't have any numbers for you, maybe ask Blair.

Tank and a half to Kamloops from Calgary its about 700 km distance

Russells 97 (?) jetta gets about 450 to a tank (I think that's what he told me) and it will probably cost a little over 50 bucks to fill.

I'm happy to hit 500km on a tank in the city. I drive fairly easily. I've got a 99.5 GTI GLX VR6. Otherwise I pretty regularly hit at least 475km on a tank.
