Me vs '06 gt mustang

So, a friend of mine just recently took delivery of a 2006 gt mustang, and today we got to line our cars up. I thought I'd be watching tailights, but it was actually pretty close.

All races were done on a closed course, btw.

First was from 40-120. Dead even. Couldnt be any closer.

Then from 70-130. I pulled maybe a half car by the end. Again, very close.

His car wins the soundtrack award, however. Even stock, the new mustang sound damn mean.

Yup, 4.6l v8. 300hp 320lb-ft, albiet stock.

Oops, sorry.

1.8t, gt28r turbo, 2.5" turbo back, fmic, cai, and 20psi.

Friend's mustang was a stock 5-speed. When he slaps a vortech charger on his car, I'll have to send him Dom's way, though.
