your appearance is the first thing that a person looks at, and uses to judge you. even before you open your mouth people have already begun to form an opinion on you, and how you carry yourself based upon your appearance.
the same goes for the appearance of a shop. if its dirty as hell and garbage everywhere it conveys a sense of "this is how they do everything" to the individual.
its a VW dealership not a KIA dealership. you have a $90,000 car in your lineup as well as many +$40,000 cars. the people buying VW's brand new for the most part are not from the gutter. many are business people who are looking for the kind of service they would expect being a semi-well off business man.
i know if i walked into a bentley dealership and the sales guy was in jeans and a wife beater i would be questioning a lot of things right away
