Help- Insurance?

Hey all,

I (unfortunately) am off my parent's car insurance plan right away, and need to get my own policy. I have absolutely no clue what this is going to cost me, but I know it will probably be a lot since I am under 25. Can anyone recommend what a good (read: cheap) insurance company is in town, or if anyone has paid insurance similar to this? Let me know what a reasonable price on insurance for me and our cars would be so I have a point to start from.

I'm hoping I can still afford some of the summer mods I was planning... might have to stretch it out over a bit longer now.

Thanks! I found out that University Alumni get discounts at Monnex and their online quote came back pretty low, I will probably go with them.

I get mine through RBC insurance (royal bank) i'm 21 and my 03 jetta is 2642/year with 1000 detuctibles and glass coverage. You can get a quote from MSN.ca automobiles section through Kanetix.

My quote from Monnex with Alumni discount is about $2500, I was quite surprised it was so low considering I have both an accident in the last year (though not my fault) and some speeding tickets in my driving history. Kanetix quotes were all higher, around $3000. Things are looking up!
