Name that Car

There was also another guy I knew Mike Barrett who also own a VW but it wasn't a Bug, not a Jetta or Fox it was a weird shaped looking bug type. Can't remember the name of that model. If I saw a photo I would go yeah that is it!

Help me name the car. I can't give anymore info than that.

if you're thinking jetta/fox shape, i would think its a type 3 notchback. the other choices are fastback and squareback, the latter looking like a wagon.

is there a prize?

Not a Thing!

It was more like a bug but not a bug , the shape was more not square like the thing. It was wider than the Bug but not like the thing. This driving me bonkers, it is not a Ghia I know what those look like. the picture hunt is on.

I have had a hankering for either a single cab or double cab lately, but the price that they go for is nuts. Even a nice split window bus would be nice.

Yeah, I seriously looked into a splitty 2 years ago. Even for a shitty one with lots of rust they are quite pricey.

Ok is the heater for the fastback on the right? At first I thought it was a notchback but now seeing them all together I think it might have been a fastback. The car was a baby blue colour I remember with a white interior dash and I can't remeber the seat just that the heater was awesome once warmed up that is.
