  • Gauge Reccomendations?

Latest saga at Concours.. (Car still isnt back) but my car got broken into, and all they stole was my Gauges and dual pod.. so I need replacements.

I was thinking Defi or Stewart Warner.. and thoughts or suggestions?
(Yes they are paying for them.. but not for Defi link etc)

              awe/omori!

Although I believe the awe-tuning ones (colormatch) are only available with boost or EGT.

First off I would kick them in the balls because if they are willing to pay for it then they are admitting it was their fault ie more then likely an inside job.

Definately AWE/Omori. I like my VDO, but I didn't know any better when I got it either! The color match is not very good, and it is not bright enough. Oh, and the needle doesn't light up. So....maybe I don't like it. Ryan's looks pimp, and as soon as I saw it I wanted one.....although I am probably going with a Stewart Warner one now because of the brushed aluminum trim around it.

I'm happy with my Apexi EL2, but it was before Omori was finished.

                          Re: Gauge Reccomendations?

Defi are some of the best that money can buy. Stewart Warners are also pretty nice. Apexi's even.... Only thing I wouldn't recommend are the lower end Autometers. Never dealt with Omori's, but from what I hear, they are pretty good.

I have a feeling that I will most likely end up with the Stewart Warner's, as C1 carries them, and they look way better then my old ones. I priced out the Defi Mechaical ones and they were about $100 more each then the SW ones.. I doubt the shop will cover that much..

(Defi @ Speedtech are $188, Omori at AWE are $149 usd, SW @ C1 are $77)
Plus there is a matching A/F SW unit as well..
