what fluids in our cars are reddy/pink

i didn't drive my car all weekend and this morning i noticed a liquid spot under my car in the garage.. i went to work and kinda ignored it but when i got home today to check it was about 300ml or some sort of reddy pink liquid.. i was thinking antifreeze but my level says its fine.. anything else i should check?? i hope my rad didn't get a leak in it .. otherwise performance rad here i come..

kidding. probably A/F. the level was showing ok hot when you got home, but check it cold.

What did it feel like? it was sticky it could be power steering fluid but if it was thin it is more then likely A/F.

it was thin i wiped it up with an already dirty rag and it was very pink.. and i'm guessing A/F is antifreeze.. i'll have to check my parking spot at work and see if i leaked any there.. i hope nothing is wrong.. oh well.

maybe i'm leaking xenon fluid lol???

yup the g12 stuff i have to go in for an oil change next week so if its giving me troubles the dealership should help....... i hope lol

300ml??? liquids always look like lots when on the floor.....I'm guessing it was 10-20ml tops! You probably overflowed once....

ATF (automatic transmission fluid) is a reddish/pink. I think automatic VW's use a synthetic fluid which is kinda clear.

In all my other cars the break fluid has also been red and turns reddy pink when it gets some air in the mixture...
Not sure about our VWs tho. Might be best to ask Volkstech!

got the tranny fluid in my passat replaced and the new synthteic oil is red
