Here are some pics of my old 2.0 L ABA turbo Mk2 Jetta. I hope the new owner is treating it nice.
And here's how much power it put down on a Mustang Dyno.
My previous car running down the road. The white mist rolling over the roof is from purging the nitrous!
That Mk2 was a blast to drive and it was such a sleeper!!! It was far from the prettiest car around, but it made it up in driving enjoyment. Prior to that car I had a little Mk1 Jetta Gli that had a port and polished head, 272 degree cam a few other bolt-ons and a 100 shot of nitrous just for good measure.
The Mk2 above had a 2.0L block running the stock 10:1 compression ratio and also about 15 psi of boost. It was controlled by a Digi-1 ECU sourced from a Corrado G60. I used an ACN 5-speed transmission with an EuroDrive 4 puck clutch. Also to keep me comfortable, I sat myself in a Sparco seat with a Sparco 4 point harness.
