  • Cool new wheels

Anyone seen anything new? I am not really in need of new wheels just bored.

Saw this today, think it would look good on a VW and unique:

They actually remind me of the stock GT wheels on my Dad's 66 Mustang... with a little extra bling of course.

Yeah I agree they kind of have that feeling, the graphite machining on the face isnt used much on newer wheels, but I think it could still be pretty sweet on a Golf or Jetta.

Supposedly Konig also has a new mesh style wheel for SEMA this year that is not yet for sale but I can't find it anywhere... their site is hopeless.

I'm leaning more to the beetle wheel....

See and I take the stand point of I wouldn't want to have to clean those. I'm bad enough with my Stock Golf.

Which reminds me I should go to car wash today and give her a nice bath and duster her on the inside, wash floor mats.

Ahahaha I am glad there is such controversy. Yes they are old school but with the polished lip I think it would work. VW's can get away with old school wheels quite often in my opinion, especially the Golf.

They do look alot like BRM wheels for old beetles

I heard a rumor that they were reproducing these (or similar) wheels in a 17" 5X100 for the new beetle.

Either way, I think they are cool if it fits the flow of the car.
