Thanks Judy! I really should go and get a lotto ticket. It could have been worse than that. I'm luck not to be shopping for a new $8,000 engine.

See it all all the good stuff and knowledge you share here is causing good Karma etc... To come your Way!

I really appreciate all the knowledge and advice you share with us! The great work you do at the dealership on members cars. I just wish I lived closer so you could do my servicing for me too at the dealership.

I may still make the huge trek when my Car needs its 65K servicing to have you work on it.

I better get saving that $700.00 I'm told I'm going to need for that one. OUCH!

It would be an honour to work on your car. Just let me know when you are ready for your 64k and we'll book you in! It would be great to meet you too!

                ****Update*****

I actually wanted to make sure the block was 100% before I dumped a sheight load of cash into the rebuild. I stripped the block down and sent it out to Built-Rite and they said that I should bore it due to some imperfections / wear in
the cylinder walls. they will bore it over one size (10 thou). I thought I would keep everyone updated on my Urinevan engine rebuild saga.

                  Re: Melted Piston!

Looks like I'm gonna get another engine. It will cost too much to rebuild the old one. I found a reman with low km's on it from a rollover. Will attach pics when I get it.

                    Re: Melted Piston!

Finally got the Eurovan back on the road. With thanks to my Padawan.
I got a complete engine and transaxle for $1000.00 from a guy in Okotoks.

Running good and feeling great! Now all I need is an ECM to kill the Check engine light.... The saga continues....
