Philips Silver Vision Blinkies

Anyone interested in some? They are silver coated, but still blink orange. They're meant for clear lamps to give them that clean silver look, useless in ones where they have amber transparencies...

If there is a substantial amount of interest, i can offer these things for $20.

The blue bulbs will be illegal anywhere on your car no matter what colour they flash... stupid law.

Law reads:

Turn signal lamps not emit white / amber light / visible <250 m from front when lit.

(there is a typo, both sections say rear, but the reg says front)

brief detail of offences with fines

So it shouldn't matter when they are off.

You are right the glass is only covered specifically for the headlamp.

They could possibly charge you with 4(4) Drive or operate vehicle with unauthorized colored lamp.

Probably safe to use blue bulbs as long as not in the headlamp.

In the tails it will take you about 30 seconds per bulb. (give or take). It's simple as pie. Actually, pie is harder. Mmmm, pie.
